| Background

Dynasty (commonly referred to as ‘Dyna’) is an entity known as a ‘Neverside Spectre’, acting as the de facto embodiment and omniversal blueprint of the concept of Souls. She originates from a mysterious realm existing outside of The Multiverse known as ‘The Neverside’. After causing a cataclysmic event known as 'The Night of Twilight' she became known by 'The Twilight Trickster' due to her tendency to play with her victims.Unlike the name implies, Neverside Spectres are entities without bodies of their own. They cannot be perceived as they exist anywhere, everywhere, yet nowhere. In truth, Neverside Spectres are conceptual beings which are the omniversal source of individual concepts. To anchor herself and properly interact with the third dimension, she needs to first possess a body of her choosing through hijacking their existence. This can be anyone and anything regardless of what they are. When compared to other Neverside Spectres, Dyna’s affinity of possession is unrivalled. It is absolute and unbreakable. Being nigh undetectable as anyone would simply perceive her as if she was the true owner of her vessel thanks to a passive powerful perception filter.Being the de facto source of a concept, a Neverside Spectre can manipulate and control their concept to any degree they would like without restriction or following the rules of reality. This is known as an ‘Absolute Affinity’. A Spectre’s Absolute Affinity will always be the strongest variation of that respective power as they are the source of said power. Dyna’s Absolute Affinity is that of ‘Souls’, making her the most powerful Souls User, period. She calls her Absolute Affinity [Soul Domination].Despite her power and otherworldly status, Dyna’s aspirations are all rather human. All the Neverside Spectre wants out of her life is to live comfortably, experience many vastly different lifestyles and simply enjoy life and what it has to offer while having fun on her own terms in a way that is both entertaining and interesting to her. Believing that the Multiverse never stands still and wishing to see all it has to offer. She has a deep interest in philosophy as it asks the question that she wishes to know the answer to: “Why?” Dyna has a habit of bringing it into conversations in order to poke at the mind of whoever she’s talking to, usually to provoke some sort of reaction for her entertainment and intrigue.Within the Neverside the term 'Neverside Spectre' roughly translates into 'Supreme Being'.

| Personality

Dyna initially likes to present herself as a silly and jovial girl with an upbeat and teasing attitude. She enjoys playing around with others - revelling in the mischief that she can cause by getting under people’s skin. On a first glance, Dyna is an eccentric and cheerful girl with a gleeful disposition - having a pretension for theatrics. She revels in being looked down on and underestimated as it perfectly masks and casts doubt on her identity as an all powerful entity.

However, this personality acts as a mask to trick and deceive others. In reality, it’s simply a front for her more deranged and cynical side. Dyna’s true view on life is rather jaded from what she outwardly presents herself as. She’s an immortal being who is completely aware of the consequences of her own immortality, knowing that over time she will leave everybody behind. This side of Dyna typically manifests as cruel, cunning, clever and sadistic. She is incredibly manipulative, and can sway others to help her, only to betray them later on - doing only what will benefit herself.

Despite this, Dyna doesn’t consider herself evil, nor does she consider herself to be good - she considers herself to sit in the moral grey area within the middle. She does what benefits herself and benefits herself alone. If helping someone would benefit her in the long run, she would help them. However, if it wouldn’t, she would have no problem leaving them for dead. She will always opt to be cowardly and selfish over doing what is morally right - considering acts of good as an investment to put people in her debt.In reality, to the people that Dyna is close to she presents herself much more as a ‘hopeless nihilist’ revelling in absurdism. She is completely aware that nothing really matters, she’s completely aware that everything and everyone is going to die and that she will keep on living. Yet despite this, she can’t help but find herself craving these connections. She can’t help but be fascinated and engrossed in culture. She loves all of it despite the fact she knows it’s all pointless. She knows that nothing is forever and she believes that is what makes life special.

Promethean
⤷ @Phantom'sVesper

Promethean, like Dyna, is another spectre from The Neverside. She and her have been romantic partners for the past 3. They care about each other deeper than anybody else. Promethean is one of the few people that Dyna isn't afraid to lower her defences around. However is yet to trust her with her name.

Micro/Macro
⤷ @PsionicSpecter

Micro is the Spectre of Psionics. He and Dyna have an unlikely friendship, yet are understanding of each other's lifestyles. The two don't see eye to eye on many subjects due to their differing of morality however they don't allow for that to get in the way of their friendship. Dyna greatly values Micro's advice and can usually rely on him telling her what she needs to hear over what she wants to hear.On the other hand her relationship with Micro's duel personality is significantly different. She see's a lot of herself in him, specifically the way she used to be after The Neverwars. Alone, isolated and lacking in purpose. She is determined to ensure that he always has a friend to rely on and always feels welcome in order to avoid the same pitfalls she fell down in the past.

Echo
⤷ @PastInPrologue

Echo is a memory duplicate of Dyna thought to be created back when Dyna was Emilia due to Subaru's return by death. Dyna and Echo act as siblings and think of each other as such. Despite this the two are not incredibly close.

Chrona
⤷ @TimeRemnant

Chrona and Dyna have somewhat of a one sided rivalry. Due to Chrona's status as 'Most powerful Spectre' Dyna typically acts as if she is her rival around her, with Chrona not giving her any attention. The two Spectres apparently used to be good friends, but now have somewhat of a strained dynamic due to events from The Neverwars.

Dyna Aikawa
⤷ @ReflectedMisery

Dyna Aikawa is the 4th Incarnation of the Spectre of Reflections. Aikawa is the product of a Spectre merging with their vessel and having a child with a human, making her Half human-Half Spectre. At times, Dyna and Aikawa’s relations can be quite strained, but they ultimately love each other as if they were siblings. Dyna is incredibly protective over Aikawa, usually leading her to act irrational at times.

Kichiro
⤷ @TheDiceBastard

Kichiro is the owner of Big Money Corp, Kichiro occasionally employs Dyna in his Casino. The two are likeminded and have a lot of friendly banter, usually coming up with the stupidest ideas for their own entertainment.

Rean Schwarzer
⤷ @EreboniaKnight_

Dyna works for Rean as the deputy head of Thor's Multiverse Academy. However regardless of her position she acts more as a personal advisor to Rean than managing School curriculum. Despite on the surface level their relationship seems strained with their constant bickering and arguing with one and other, they are extremely close and value each other's companionship.

Marduk Pendoras
⤷ @SpriterMarduk

First meeting indirectly due to a mutual contact, Dyna took on the role of mentor-like role to Marduk due to her status as this all knowing magical entity. Dyna was happy to fulfil this purely due to the fact she loves to talk about what she's knowledgeable on. This however over time led to her genuinely starting to care about Marduk and role as sensei which was only exemplified by their joint presence at Thor's Multiverse Academy.

Violet
⤷ @DevilishEnd

Violet and Dynasty have a seeming rivalry that originates from each of them believing that they are better than the other. This rivalry isn't exactly taken all too seriously by either parties; this is reinforced by Dyna's tendency to turn their arguments into musical numbers. Dyna believes to be superior due to Violet's business being useless if not for her Absolute Affinity of Souls, where as Violet believes to be superior due to her innovative utilisation of Souls. They would aha.

Rouge The Bat

Rouge The Bat is a world famous jewel thief, secret agent and master of deceit who also just so happens to be an anthropomorphic bat. She’s 1/3rd of Team Dark and typically takes the more tactical position in any mission which they venture upon. She has an attraction to jewels above any, always planning out her next heist.Despite having a good heart, Rouge is self-centred and short minded. In most scenarios she’ll do what benefits herself over what benefits others. She is greedy, calculating and manipulative. She knows exactly how to play any scenario to be in her favour. Her appeal is very complex, but it is not too far off to describe her as an elusive, mysterious, and mature woman who is true to her desires.Dyna possessed Rouge in order to spend time with Micro and Macro in Sonic’s World, feeling as if she hadn’t seen them in a while. Dyna had intended to possess Rouge earlier in the year but… external factors got in the way, this was a perfect excuse to follow through with this. However she was shocked to find Macro possessing Shadow. Dyna doesn’t believe in fate but she couldn’t help but wonder if there were some external forces at play… Who knows? As Rouge, Dyna is significantly greedier and materialistic than she typically is. Dyna is a hoarder at the best of times, but as Rouge she has an insatiable thirst of jewels. In stark contrast to her usual demeanour, while as Rouge Dyna can be found significantly flirtier than her usual self - something which she usually cares little for.

|Absolute Afinity: Soul Domination

Dyna’s Absolute Affinity is an ability that she herself dubbed [Soul Domination]. Soul Domination allows for Dyna to control, manipulate, create, destroy, (etc), souls physically and conceptually in any way that she desires, only being limited to what she can come up with within that moment. The most common application of Soul Domination that Dyna uses, is as an energy source. Being able to tap into every soul that has ever existed or ever will exist across the omniverse allows Dyna to have a supply of infinite and limitless soul energy. She uses this energy in the form of ‘Magic’ or to power her soul based abilities. When using her Absolute Affinity, Dyna's eyes glow a vibrant chromatic lilac.

| The Kaleidoscope Room [II]

The Kaleidoscope Room is Dyna’s own personal dimension which exists outside of the Multiverse alongside The Neverside. It functions as somewhat of a home for her, which she can manifest gateways to anywhere, usually taking the form of two grand doors.Spectres can innately use their abilities to create dimensions which they sustain with power from themselves - These dimensions crumble if a Spectre somehow dies. However Dyna has her dimension powered independently by a Tree of Life made up of souls. The main chamber of the rebuilt Kaleidoscope Room takes the appearance of a vast multi-layered hexagonal shaped room populated with side chambers organised with tables, shelves and bookshelves filled with various bits and pieces Dyna has collected over the years. It's far more modern than its previous iteration.

The Kaleidoscope Room's Main Chamber.

The dimension and all of its rooms are looked over by a magitech supercomputer called ‘ARC’. ARC was created (originally being apart of a sentient crystalline species called the Kuroshicore) and integrated into the dimension to watch over it as its guardian, also functioning as the biggest magical database out there which Dyna is able to use as a utility when Dyna needs help.

| Other Rooms

Despite its name, The Kaleidoscope Room is not a singular chamber. Other rooms in also consist of:

- 2 Vaults
- A Wardrobe
- A Library
- An Observatory
- The Chamber of Life (Housing its Tree of Life)
- Several Bedrooms
- A Swimming pool
- A Sauna
- Several Storage Rooms
- An Infirmary

- A Zen Room
- A Workshop
- A Theatre
- A Kitchen
- An Art Gallery
- An Auditorium
- A Lounge
- A Laundry Room
- A Garden
- A Zero Gravity Chamber

Each of these rooms are not dissimilar in appearance to the main chamber and linked together through interconnecting corridors.

| Weaknesses:

Spellcasting Incantation Dependency - While general spellcasting, Dyna must be able to speak in order to cast spells. If somehow unable to speak she will not be able to cast general Neverside spells.Vessel Mortality - Dyna's vessel is (usually) not immortal and unlike her can sustain physical injury and even die.The Neverside - If somehow disconnected from The Neverside or it somehow being destroyed, Dyna's death would be imminent upon running out of stored magic.Human Factor - Despite being all powerful, Dyna can still act irrational. She can still act foolish. She can still allow her emotions to better her. If she falls to the other side of manipulation she can easily and quickly lose fights due to rash thinking and irrationality.Non-interference Policy - Neverside Spectres are not allowed to interfere with a world's personal timeline outside of what their vessels would do. They are not allowed to interfere and play God and must allow events to play out as if they were their vessels. They are merely allowed to observe.Galactic Law - Due to being a member of the interdimensional organisation Bouquet, Dyna is required to follow all 2366 specific articles outlined by the Shadow Proclamation. (Although sometimes she has ignored this)Fear of Pirates - Dyna has an irrational fear of pirates.

| Origins

Dyna first manifested in Neverside year [REDACTED]. Upon first manifesting Dyna was a mindless creature acting out of instinct. This is simply how Spectres manifest; spectres take significant time to develop their personalities, their personality is typically influenced by what they experience first in life. She quickly started trying to come to terms with existing and began to experiment with her Absolute Affinity over souls. Through accident, she forced open a rift between The Neverside and an earth-like realm (known to Neverdwellers as ‘a Dayside’), ending up within the continent spanning kingdom known as ‘Kamala’.Upon entering Kamala she was overwhelmed almost instantly by her surroundings, as she was everywhere experiencing everything all at once, her senses were instantly overloaded. To her it felt as if she was being crawled over by a colony of ants. So she did what anyone would do, she brushed them off, killing them out of instinct. And thus the bloodshed began

| The Night of Twilight

One by one, she squished more of the ‘ants’, becoming used to the sensation of existing everywhere. One by one she used her Soul Domination to kill the citizens across the entire kingdom through the destruction of their souls. She watched in absolute fascination at how the kingdom reacted, how they failed to make sense of it. How some considered it to be an act of God and turning to religion. Whereas some tried to make sense from a more logical standpoint. She watched as the little people fought amongst themselves, all as she kept squishing. What was once instinct quickly developed into enjoyment. She just loved to see the reaction of the little people. But soon, that started to bore her. She became bored of the same confused reaction. She desired more. She desired to walk among the little people and interact with them in a more direct manner. She wanted to torture them and be seen doing so.As she was pondering that desire, she suddenly found her senses transformed. Dyna could no longer see everything, only what was right in front of her. As through this desire, she had found she had become one with one of the humans that she had been toying with. She found she knew everything about them. Everything that was theirs was now hers. She had found a Neverside Spectre’s innate ability of possession. This expanded her horizons. She could now be any one of them through just a thought. She could now interact with her toy box in an entirely new creative way. This worked, for a while. But the inevitable happened. After possessing hundreds of bodies something had changed. Walking amongst them in such a destructive manner led to the young spectre to become noticed. To become identified. She could no longer hide. So she tactically decided it wasn’t smart to even try to. She needed another new approach. As a sign of power to crush morale, she possessed the Kingdom’s princess and slaughtered the King and Queen with the princesses’ own hands, taking control of the entire kingdom under her tyrannical rule. This was all within one singular night. A night that went on to be known within Kamala’s History as ‘The Night of Twilight’.

| Twilight's Tyrant

There was a word that the humans used to describe the royal family of Kamala. One that she enjoyed very much as she believed it to be an adept description of herself. ‘Dynasty’. She only thought that if she was to rule them, she should have a name as they did. So that is what she chose. However, just because she ruled over them now as their ruler.. It didn’t lead to Dyna slowing down her onslaught. She continued to kill. She continued to torture. She continued to make them beg. All from the comfort of a throne. Among the survivors, she began to become known as The Twilight Trickster. There were rebellions. There were attempts to overthrow her. They all failed. All but one.The Kingdom of Kamala had gone from being a continent with a population of 746.4 Million. To a simple town within the course of 3 years of Dyna’s rule. Dyna was about ready to finish the kingdom for good and move on to the next when she was struck down by a ‘Holy Sword’.But this was no Holy Sword, not really. The town was the same where the rift had opened which allowed Dyna to pass through in the first place. The Line of Twilight. The Sword had been enchanted with the energy which had been leaking through. Raw power The Neverside itself. Enough to harm the young Spectre, instantly destroying her and causing her to remanifest within The Neverside, freeing the once mighty Kingdom. That day, Dyna learnt a valuable lesson. She learnt that nobody wins forever. She learnt that one day, hope wins. The epic power of the sword was used to separate the town from the mainland and place it in the middle of the ocean, safe and off of the map. After doing so, some of the population passed through the rift with the intention of destroying Dynasty once and for all, knowing she wasn’t truly defeated. They never returned. Yet the town lived in peace.746.4 million deaths were recorded within the fatality index.

| Invasion of the dayside

After manifesting within the Neverside shortly after her defeat, Dyna could sense that The Neverside had been breached by the villagers and instantly went on the offensive. However she had found that they had already colonised a small settlement within the Neverside. She had discovered that they had somehow been harnessing power from The Neverside and using it in the form of magic, which they were able to use to hold the inexperienced Spectre back. However, not before she was able to take the body of one of the settlers for her own. She learnt that the settlers had begun to call themselves ‘Neverside Wizards’. She remained as this settler for the foreseeable future.Dyna and the Wizards maintained their rivalry. Dyna would randomly attack the Wizards, only to be repelled by their rituals. However with every defeat, Dyna only learnt more and more. She learnt how their magic worked, she learnt how to protect herself against it. She learnt how to Spellcast and weaponised their own magic against them through having every spell they cast directly affect them instead. And upon learning how to tap into the infinite power of the Neverside and Soul Domination, she became unstoppable. With a swift swoop, she garnered her revenge and wiped out the Wizard settlement entirely, leaving nothing but dust and debris. Or so she thought, unknown to her, one child was left alive which she hadn’t accounted for.

| Sharing The Neverside

She later learnt that the settlement had split off into other wizarding factions throughout The Neverside. Since she had no reason to fight them and they had no reason to fight her, she let them be. Starting to slowly mature with time. However, rumours about Dyna began to spread like wildfire and what she was capable of. She became known amongst the Neverside Wizards as The Ka Faraq Gatri, which in the language of The Neverside means ‘Destroyer of Worlds’.

| Fascination with Humanity

Over the years, Dyna became fascinated with the Wizards. She noticed that they had their own traditions and culture. Something which she had completely overlooked in Kamala. Taking an interest, she left The Neverside once more to visit other worlds to see if they shared the same traditions and was left surprised to find they actually didn’t, they instead had their own traditions and culture. This expanded from a general fascination with Wizards to a fascination with humanity as a whole. She spent most of her time outside of The Neverside simply observing, still a little reluctant to take part herself. She liked to compare and contrast this to the traditions Neverside Wizards partook in.

| The Champion of The Neverside

Dyna had become aware that she wasn’t the only one of her kind. However, at the time she had no interest in them. Despite them being the same species as her, she had no real motivation to interact with them. Besides, she couldn’t find them. Dyna was the only Spectre who stayed within The Neverside. The rest who had manifested at the time, were scattered across the Multiverse.Instead, Dyna preferred to stay within the Neverside. She learnt its secrets and became incredibly knowledgeable of her ability, The Neverside itself and the significance of it. She became spiritually connected to the realm in a way no other spectre ever had or ever will. Further amplifying her abilities. She would then go on to protect The Neverside from any and all external threats who wished to conquer them. Many attempts were made from god-like entities, not a single one succeeded. She later identified these creatures as The Great Old Ones and Pantheon of Discord.

| Opposition

At one point in time a faction of Wizards who had migrated from The Neverside back to The Dayside became under siege by a rogue faction of Neverside Wizards who called themselves ‘The Neverlords’. They believed it should have been them who dominated The Neverside, wishing to obtain beyond Spectre-level power from The Tree of Life, the Heart of The Neverside. From these Wizards they stole the ‘Holy Sword’ that was used to banish Dyna back to the Neverside. This sword was reforged into twin scimitars. They was gifted to their mightiest warrior. It was their intention to use these weapons to destroy Dyna so she wouldn't be able to meddle with their plan, knowing she would oppose it.

The requested information has been blocked in accordance with article 15.3 of The Shadow Proclamation.

| Isolation

After the Events of The Neverwars, Dyna isolated herself. From the Spectres she had become allied with, alongside Wizardkind, growing to resent the latter far more as she blamed their kind for the events of the war. The Neverside had become much more of a dull place, decrepit and destroyed. What used to be a vast and beautiful forest, now looked dead and decayed. She did her best to look into ways to help restore the realm, but to no avail. Nothing she did would work. In order to end the war, they had to sacrifice its enchanting beauty. Not something which sat lightly upon her. So she made the decision to seal all possible natural entrances to The Neverside, completely removing even further from the multiverse. Preventing it from being accessed by anyone who wasn't from the realm in the first place.

| The Mirror Master

Dyna remained in this isolation until she one day encountered a Neverside Spectre who she fought together alongside within the war who called herself Mona, The Mirror Master. During her long isolation, she hadn’t realised how lonely she had become. She found that Mona felt the same way, she had stayed in The Neverside all this time feeling the guilt of the decision that they made that day. The two took complete solace within each other. Mona was always sweet and kind towards Dyna, bouncing off Dyna’s confidence and charisma with her own. The two grounded each other in a hostile world they didn’t even know the first thing about anymore. Eventually the two left for the Dayside, deciding that they would never have a better life for themselves surrounded by the memories of the past. They needed something new.Now living within a modern Dayside, they became the best of friends. Mona showed Dyna what she perceived as pure genuine kindness, something nobody had ever shown her before then, helping her develop her personality and come into her own, helping Dyna find who she was and what she wanted. Entertaining all of her dumb desires and impulses throughout the years. Was it any surprise that she fell in love with her?

| Fairy tale ending

Mona told Dyna that she was going to merge with her vessel. A process a Neverside Spectre can perform in order to truly become their vessel. Mona would become human, lose her immortality, her abilities, everything that made her a Neverside Spectre would be gone.Dyna protested, she couldn’t be alone without her best friend! But Mona couldn’t watch her husband grow old and die. Tears erupt, Dyna confessed to Mona about how she felt. Mona told Dyna she knew, she’d known for a while. She told Dyna that despite how she always looked happy for her, she always knew that deep inside she was sad. The two remained friends. Dyna maintained her immortality and watched Mona grow old from a distance. The older that she got the harder it was for Dyna to be around her and by the time she was ready it was too late. She was goneMona died shortly after giving birth to her daughter. Mourning her death, she finally moved on, realising that all Mona would want is for her to be happy. But within a world without her best friend, she just didn’t know how that was possible. She promised that she would watch over her family, it being the least she could do.However this didn’t last. The more time she spent observing Mona’s family from afar, the more she felt the guilt. She felt regret. She couldn’t do it, they reminded Dyna too much of her friend that she had lost. So she slinked away back into the shadows.

| Unsung Legacy

Lost and unsure what to do with herself, Dyna quickly became determined to pull herself forward. She may have loved and lost, but she had learnt so much about herself. After 200 years she finally felt as if she was coming into her own, but there was still much progress to be made. And if she was lost, it would only be logical to find herself again. To make those connections that she had with Mona with others to bring out the best in her once more.Mona’s full name was Monarchy. Dyna’s full name is Dynasty. It was here she finally decided to adopt the nickname Dyna in Mona’s honour. It wasn’t for many years that Dyna realised that the entire time she was with Mona, she had been led on and manipulated. Mona had strung Dyna along for years because she didn’t have the courage to turn her down. She tried to manipulate Dyna into taking care of her daughter as she wanted someone to look over her who wasn’t herself. The entire time Dyna had been viewing Mona through rose tinted goggles, leaving her mentally scared and to develop a twisted idea of love that would haunt her for years.

| New Beginnings

After Mona’s death, Dyna spent a lot of time in Daysides based within fantasy dayside. Where magic was prevalent and everything had a very fairy tale feel. She was reluctant to return to the modern day, it reminded her too much of what she’d lost. However, the time she’d spent within the world was already a great help. She was happier, more outgoing, and less isolated. Happy to get away from The Neverside and all the antics that came bundled with it.Within this time, she hadn’t been unnoticed. For a matter of fact, she had become quite famous within The Neverside for her contributions to The Neverwars, holding back deities who wished them harm and of course, The Night of Twilight. She’d gained quite the few admirers, one of those admirers was in the form of Promethean.

| Phantom's Vesper

A few months into her adventure in the Fantasy worlds, Dyna was approached by another Neverside Spectre who called herself Promethean. The two hit it off rather well, however Dyna was a little bothered by how much Promethean idolised her and placed her upon a pedestal, referring to her as ‘Dyna-sama’. She was quick to shut down this admiration as she was no longer proud of the senseless destruction she caused within The Night of Twilight.Promethean agreed and they continued to be good friends. When it came down to it, Promethean reminded Dyna a lot of herself in her younger years. Despite the two being similar ages, she knew that Promethean had nowhere near the experience that she had. She had to teach her even the basics of controlling her abilities. But through this they formed an unbreakable bond, Dyna aiming to destroy the admiration that Promethean had for her so they could stand together as equals. That’s all that Dyna truly wanted. After knowing each other for months, the two finally started dating as they had a clear attraction to each other. This all accumulated with Dyna suggesting that Promethean shorten her name to ‘Thea’. Just like how Dyna shortened her own, it made them come off as more human. The two continued to take solace within each other, bringing out their best and helping each other develop into their ideal versions of themselves, all while having fun within the worlds they traversed together, bringing each other to new heights with new perspectives.

| The Master of The Weave

Dyna took to adventure again after learning about a mysterious magical force known as The Weave. It was foretold to have the ability to control the building blocks of the multiverse, being responsible for its creation. Dyna knew this couldn’t be the case as she knew the true creation event for the Multiverse. She travelled to a futuristic dimension and fought against a creature that was a hybrid of technology and biology known as ‘Monstrum’, felling the foe with ease. She helped assist in the prevention of the Monstrums invading other worlds, learning that somebody was somehow opening breaches, innate gateways between worlds that originated from The Neverside to make an attempt to reach something known as ‘The Godmaker’, something which could alter the fabric of reality in someone’s favour. She found this to be someone who called himself ‘The Master’.The two fought and Dyna won, but not before The Master was able to leave Dyna heavily injured, which wiped away her confidence as it led her to discover that The Godmaker originated from The Neverside. He escaped, leaving their battle unfinished.

| Those Who Neverwas

After her failure to stop The Master, Dyna wished to get stronger still. She made contact with another Spectre she had met within The Neverwars and asked for her help. The Spectre that she asked was called Chrona, the strongest Spectre in the entirety of The Neverside. She worked with her as a bounty hunter for a brief period, hunting creatures from The Neverside known as ‘Neverwas’. She wished to get to a point where she would be able to become immune to all forms of Neverside Magic, honing her connection even further.During this, she was stalked by a sentient group of Neverwas known as ‘The Tribus’. Neverwas weren’t supposed to be able to possess humanlike intelligence. She eventually discovered that The Neverwas were Neverside Wizards who had become corrupted by their own Magic and fell victim to The Neverside’s corruption, becoming it’s slaves. She found that The Tribus were originally part of the same clan of Wizards as Warlock and had been able to hold onto their intelligence through necromancy, allowing them to reach new levels of power. However, to Dyna, they were no match and she dispatched them easily, surprised at how powerful she had become. Realising that her issue wasn’t even her ability, but her mentality. She left Chrona’s occupation soon after.

| Meeting further spectres

Throughout this time Dyna had come into encounter with more Spectres, now this time trying to make a good first impression. As it had shown with Promethean and Chrona, she had learnt to find solace within her own kind. She met Micro, the Psionic Spectre, becoming friends with him quickly. She was able to find that Micro was one of the few people that could keep her grounded where others could not. Micro also became friends with Promethean and the three became close friends. She also met Kichiro, the Dice Bastard. She became his assistant and worked part time in his casino. The two always came up with stupid nonsensical ideas for entertainment, being cut from the same cloth.

| Chimes of Twilight

While staying within the Kingdom of Lugnica, Dyna sensed that a Neverwas was hiding just outside of the capital, so naturally she investigated. She found that a Neverwas was somehow manipulating time to feed off of a Neverside Wizard’s lost time, keeping them clung to this world after causing the accidental death of his family, by looping the past hour infinitely, feeding off of the energy that it produced. She found this Neverwas to actually be native to another Neverrealm known as The Timeline Subway, a realm which connects all of the Breaches of the multiverse together. Dyna went on the offensive with the intent to kill, however she was caught off guard and The Time Eater was able to eat Dyna’s time, essentially reverting her to how she was upon her birth.Upon awakening, Dyna had no idea who she was, spending the next few days learning. She learnt her identity from the people who claimed to be her friends and instantly despised it. Learning about The Night of Twilight, her presence in The Neverwars, she couldn’t comprehend how she could be capable of this.

This version of Dyna developed into a rather shy and meek person. She was headstrong that she was nothing like her previous incarnation and wished to live as differently as possible. Taking up residence and possessing Chino Kafuu, a schoolgirl within The Dayside who worked within a cafe. She liked this simpler human life, happy it was as different as her previous incarnation as possible. However this could not last. The more time that went on, despite being happy herself. She found that her friends were the opposite of such. She had spent so long focusing on the bad that her previous self had done, that she failed to consider all of the good. And after a pep talk… she finally knew what she had to do.She travelled back to the mansion in Lugnica that the Time Eater resided in, pretending as if she was her previous incarnation. She tricked it into eating her existence for a second time, however this entirely backfired upon the Time Eater. The Time Eater had attempted to eat a person’s time for a second time, which was impossible as the two incarnations of Dyna overlapped. It caused a paradoxical reaction that led to a restoration of the original Dyna, leaving the second incarnation to die along with The Time Eater.Upon being restored, she thanked her other incarnation, not knowing if she would have the mental strength to sacrifice her happiness so that someone else could take her place. She has a deep respect for her.

Beyond the Eclipse

This covers Dyna's time as Black★Rock Shooter during 'Beyond The Eclipse', a seven year in universe time skip for a handful of Neverside characters

| Boot up BRS

With Dyna’s ideologies of morality being challenged, she starts to find herself enjoying the thrill and adrenaline that comes with saving people. This causes her to evaluate her entire worldview, now starting to see protecting others as something she enjoys over her own typical self serving attitude. With Promethean and Chrona venturing on a 7 year journey together to locate the Infinite, Dyna decides she wants to embark on a 7 year journey of her own - wishing for something to challenge herself in a do or die scenario where every decision matters. This leads Dyna makes a deal with Chrona to place herself within the recently reset composite Black★Rock Shooter timeline. Wishing to live through all the events of her life to experience how BRS ended up the way she did by the time Promethean was using her as a vessel during Lunar Eclipse.Chrona agrees to help her to make up for releasing Warlock and allows Dyna to enter the Timeline and possess BRS at the inciting incident of The Apostle Invasion while BRS is still in stasis. Chrona allows this under the conditions that she strictly follows the timeline and only relies on Black★Rock Shooter's latent abilities and talent to avoid changing the timeline by using her Absolute Affinity.

| The Apostle Invasion

Dyna was awakened by the ‘Primary Support Service’ (PSS) in the year 2051. Upon awakening she was face to face with what appeared to be the surviving 15 members of humanity. Her vessel was lacking memories due to amnesia however the PSS were quickly able to bring her up to speed, informing Dyna that an alien race known as The Apostles had launched an invasion on the Earth, decimating and dwindling down their numbers to just 15. Despite her lacking her memories, Dyna could feel her vessel’s natural instinct to fight and urge to protect those who remained.Working under the PSS, Dyna pushed back against The Apostle Invasion, using only her vessel’s natural abilities and growing closer to the PSS as she did - becoming especially close to one of the members called Rothcall. Dyna continued to disregard her Absolute Affinity in order to maintain Chrona’sNon-interference policy’. In the process she learnt that her vessel was BRS2035 and that her name was ‘Stella’ as she gradually regained her memories. She learnt that she was a genetically modified clone born in 2035 - known as a ‘Gray’ - of an Earth singer named ‘Sing Love’, bred for combat and war by her father Weiler Gibson after The Apostles had invaded. By 2040 she learnt that Gibson had finalised his plans to turn Stella into a living weapon to fight back against the Apostle Army. Stella was placed inside of a stasis capsule at six years of age in the city of San Francisco, intending to be awoken upon reaching physical maturity, however the PSS had awoken her 3 years earlier at the age of 16 due to the dire situation of Earth. While in search for the last remaining human woman in Moscow, the PSS were all slaughtered by a member of the Apostle Army known as Nafe. Distraught that she was unable to protect those she’d grown close to, Dyna attacked Nafe but was quickly dispatched by her after watching Rothcall die in front of her eyes. Despite her defeat she was still alive and pushed onwards and ended up being rescued by the woman she was looking for - Nana Gray - a fellow Gray likewise created by Gibson.Dyna and Nana ventured together to one of Gibson’s laboratories for something that could help them where they uncovered a project Gibson had been working on before his death that he called ‘The Arc’, a computer containing genetic samples to restore countless earth species that were thought to have gone extinct within the Alien Invasion with the intent to clone them. They also learnt that ‘Sing Love’ - their mother - was the leader of The Apostle army and an alien herself and that her real name was WRS (White★Rock Shooter). They learnt that the true reason for their creation was so that ‘Sing Love’ would be able to fight them, kill them and absorb them to make herself stronger through a process called neblading. Gibson opposed this and instead wished to save them and keep them safe, regretting his choice to turn them into weapons. However during this investigation the two were apprehended by Lilio - another member of the Apostle Army.Despite Dyna’s victory, Nana used this as an opportunity to overpower Dyna and leave her in the lab, intending to defeat Sing Love on her own. Dyna was eventually able to catch up, fighting her way through the Apostle base and making her way up to the Moon - defeating the remaining Apostles on the way. Dyna confronted WRS and after a battle to the death ended her life, putting an end to her invasion and fulfilling her desire to fight a perfect clone of herself. Before she died, WRS dubbed Dyna as a ‘White’, signifying her as a perfect clone. Dyna protested this however, revealing her identity to WRS to bluntly communicate to her that her victory was never even on the cards to begin with. After WRS’ defeat Dyna and Nana continued to operate out of The Apostle’s moonbase to watch over Earth. They activated Gibson’s arc to gradually lead to the restoration of Earth’s animal population in hope to restore the climate. They also discovered that despite what they fought there were still countless human settlements around the Earth that were hidden underground, which could lead to the slow restoration of humanity itself. With this revolution Dyna went onto take up the title of ‘Guardian of Humanity’, where she discarded both the name’s Dyna and Stella for the time being and instead taking up the mantle of ‘Black★Rock Shooter’ to honour Gibson and further deplore WRS, wishing for the name to inspire and bring hope to all that hear her name.

| The Hollow World

After the remnants of humanity discovered Black Rock Shooter, one human scientist who had previously worked on the cloning program back in 2030 made an attempt to re-engineer her creation. Scavenging for WRS’ DNA and using it to genetically alter girls compatible with her DNA to create humanity’s own saviours. Out of the several subjects that were subjected to this, four were known to survive. These girls became known as Dead Master, Strength, Chariot and Black★Gold Saw. These girls inherited power comparable to Black Rock Shooter. They became known as Black★Stars. However something he didn’t account for was the power of the collective despair of humanity. The power of human grief was strong enough to break down the barriers between dimensions and connect the Earth to an alternate timeline version of itself where the Apostle Army never invaded. In turn each person on each Earth dreamt of their counterpart’s lives, however this had disastrous consequences - gradually turning areas of the Earth into distorted and twisted versions of itself which defied all rhyme and logic due to the buildup of dream energy caused by several counterpart’s not having psychic links due to humanity’s mass extinction.Furthermore, due to the dimensional sensitivity of BRS and the Black★Stars, they garnered significantly further powerful psychic links, taking on the negative emotions of their Alternate World counterparts which prompted them to start fighting among each other due to mirroring their Alternate Timeline counterparts' emotional states and feelings.Dyna was able to eventually sever this connection between the two Earth’s after recovering from insanity due to briefly merging with BRS’ Alternate Earth counterpart and her current emotional state - Mato Kuroi.Unfortunately due to the build up of Dream Energy, the distorted parts of the Earth afflicted by the energy became self-sustaining, causing the vast areas transformed into ‘Dreamscapes’ to become uninhabitable by regular humans, quickly becoming inhabited by monsters and prime hunting points for the Black★Stars. This led to these parts of the Earth to become known among humanity as ‘The Hollow World’.

| Innocent Soul

Due to weird properties of the Hollow World allowing for travel between thresholds, the entrance to a lone threshold known as Hazama - which Dyna could sense an overwhelming amount of Soul Energy leaking from. Hazama functions similarly as the Hollow World’s purgatory, trapping souls with unfinished business inside of itself called Stagnant Souls which possess the ability to manifest their own personal realities. Worrying of the effects Hazama could have on the Earth, Dyna entered Hazama with the mission of freeing the Stagnant Souls and allowing them to ascend to Heaven or descend to Hell.Because to the nature of Hazama Dyna was unable to bring her ★Rock Cannon or Black Blade along with her, however, encountered a shapeshifting snake-like creature within the threshold who called themselves ‘Ron’ who offered to assist her by transforming into various weapons for Dyna to utilise. Dyna agreed and the two ventured through Hazama together freeing Stagnant Souls. On her journey, Dyna discovered a strange group of Black★Stars within Hazama along with an alternate version of Dead Master. Confused about how they could exist, she joins their ranks posing as a Black★Star herself to learn more about them. Ron confesses he joined Dyna as they assumed she herself was a Black★Star, despite this they agreed to keep her secret safe due to her dedication to freeing Stagnant Souls. However, they suggested that she simply adopt the name of ‘Rock’ due to Black★Rock Shooter being far too long and far too obvious she didn’t belong.Within the process of freeing Stagnant Souls, Dyna and Ron encounter a girl called Ram. Initially, they believe her to be an ally, however they later discover that she herself is a Stagnant Soul and is the entire reason Hazama is in the state it is. She reveals that she herself was once a firefly who lacked the ability to emit light, leading her to toy with the idea of creating Black★Stars from Stagnant Souls to fight other Stagnant Souls to see if any changes occur within Hazama. They did not, leading to the world to be locked within the same perpetual cycle.Ram wishes to destroy Hazama due to the pointless nature of it all, however Dyna protests proclaiming that the dead need a place to come to terms with her fate, pushing back against Ram with all she has. Eventually, she was able to enter Ram’s personal reality and help her achieve her wish in life: being able to emit light. This allowed her soul to move on and returned Hazama to normal.Dyna and Ron parted ways, Ron staying within Hazama to watch over the Stagnant Souls and remaining Black★Stars that Ram had created. However, to remember him, Dyna adopted the name of ‘Rock’ within casual settings.

| Dawn fall

Dyna left Rock’s Earth for a brief period after being invited to a Sleepover Party with Maki, Aikawa and Chorna. After making the mistake of falling asleep first, Dyna awakens from a stasis pod now finding herself back within Rock’s world, specifically, once more within San Francisco. There she meets up with Warlock - who had been protecting the world in her absence - and learns that a large portion of the world had been taken over by an AI known as Artemis through its avatar ‘Lunatic’ under a cult-like group called The Education Institution. Artemis had taken over The Apostle’s former Moon Base and utilised it for itself.Warlock informed Dyna that The Education Institution had taken over the moon, but that Nana was safe and working alongside humanity. He also explains to her that their plan was to use an orbital elevator to bring a newly constructed machine army to Earth so they would be able to finish the job and truly take over the world and that it was up to her as the ‘Guardian of Humanity’ to destroy it. Dyna agrees, teaming up with Warlock, Nana and The Black★Stars to push back against The Education Institution and destroy the Orbital Elevator. Along the way, Dyna acquires Trike, a support motorbike containing an advanced AI created for her in her absence based on her earlier model which she used during the initial Apostle Invasion. After confronting Lunatic, Lunatic reveals she wishes to destroy the world and reform it, terraforming the world over and over to create the perfect and ideal environment for humanity by continuously wiping out humanity so she can use it as a continuous sample dish. In the end, Lunatic and The Education Institution were defeated along with the Apostle Moon base being brought back under the control of Dyna and Nana upon the destruction of Artemis.Upon the resolution of the incident, Dyna was still completely baffled and unaware how she even ended up in stasis in the first place, but assumed it was a prank by Maki and Chrona for falling asleep first, leading her to vow revenge on them.
